The artwork aims to communicate and share identity through movements between two beings existing in the real and virtual worlds. When the audience approaches the screen, the virtual ape rises from his seat and greets the audience with dance, and the audience explores by taking artps_108s1 – Transcending Boundaries of Communication: AI and Audience Dancing Together Page 3 of 8 various gestures from the virtual ape. Then, the virtual ape imitates the audience's dance and expresses rhythm to convey his language. They explore each other's movements and dance together to complete the artwork.

Al-Go-Rhythm (2022) embodied the languag produced by the public in virtual space in the gestures of machine. With the definition of fundamental nature of human mentality as "anxiety", the group explore whether AI could imitate basic value and property of human. In addition, the group thought that the public vents out different desires on an online community to ease their anxiety because people can pursue desires that they cannot fulfill in an offline world such as sense of belonging, recognition, companionship, and aggression in a wild online space anywhere, anytime. What kind of anxiety does the public have, wandering around in virtual space? To find an answer, TEAM AI-GO takes an experiment that uses artificial intelligence to embody public anxiety in music and dance, which are unique areas of human beings. After turning the collection of language data that contains explicit inner desire of the public into the vocal language, TEAM AI-GO carried out the experiment to change the vocal language into gestures generated by “AlGo”, an AI model. However, the result is, at best, production of made-up sham and technique. AI could not “recreate” a new language by unlocking the essence of the language of the people, therefore, it failed to carry out a creative "translation". Having no control over itself, AI is fundamentally variable, desireless, and senseless. Above all, AI does not have a body to generate gestures, which means it is not tangible and visible with absence of physical form to respond unexpected circumstances with agility. However, AI in the work keeps seeking ways to break the barrier to realize its creativity even though it is incomplete, with the hope that it can crack the barrier one day.

It highlights how masks have affected existing communication methods through artificial intelligence technology (GAN) and raises questions about how our communication will change during COVID. By projecting the audience's face in the mask onto the screen using artificial intelligence, we tried to provide time to think about how much half of the facial expressions lost by the mask affect our lives. It is implemented with lip modeling technology using a Generative Adversarial Network (GAN), and the appearance of the audience is displayed through beam project mapping as artificial intelligence generates faces and movements inside the mask by collecting voice data and images of participating audiences. I am in charge of planning and designing the entire work.

Through the interaction of algorithms made with computer technology, it is a work that experiences the first encounter, recognition, and greeting of art and humans and solves the meeting as the theme of gaze and contact. Models that pack in different feelings touch each other's eyes and body contact and organically intertwine to pose. Through motion recognition, the performance proceeds by receiving the position value of the performer and transforming the circle, which means meeting a new being at work.

Interactive Robotic Perfomance

Each of the three different characters is angry about an event that does not know what it is, or they appeal for their legitimacy in a way that it does not matter. Through them, he expressed many noises emitted by modern society. The robot arm in the work projects us living in this era ahead of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Among the different arguments, modern people who are lost and confused are projected on the robot. The NACHI robot arm was given a teaching point to create a movement.

The existing robot arm is a robot "worker" who has been doing boring and repetitive simple tasks on behalf of humans without complaining. Therefore, our robots of perception thought of large objects in factories as strangers in completely separate fences, moving them or repeating only one movement. Such robotic cancers have begun to escape the fence and enter our daily lives and will exist closer in the future. However, there are still perceptions of semi-mechanization in us, and the rugged appearance of robot cancer may come awkwardly. It is a performance play that led the play with a ridiculous but sometimes witty performance by applying a timid and foolish personality, not a thorough and intelligent robot image, through the concept of lobby using narratives of robots such as workers and industrialization.

This work urges interest in marginalized children through the audience's interaction, who directly caress the wounds hidden inside a smiling young child. It is interactive advertisement content to be interested in child abuse.

It is an interactive performance work that depicts a human being as a contradictory being who strongly wants independent freedom and feels lonely simultaneously. The stretched cloth means an independent self, and the performer shows that he is trying to face others by pulling the cloth. However, if such a meeting continues, humans must exist as independent selves in the end. It is a work that breaks down the boundaries of the self in the relationship between the independent self and others while drawing the boundaries. When pulling a cloth connected to a rubber band, the whispering sound increases; install a pressure sensor on the column and depend on the elasticity of the rubber band. It is a work that distorts and synthesizes sound through MAX MSP by changing the value.

This work compares the indifference to history to the phenomenon of steaming by the window, and the audience must wipe it off to see the painful history of the main video. Ignorance and indifference to history are compared to seaweed standing by the window, and through wiping interaction, it conveys the message that indifference should be wiped out and paid attention.

"Instead of gaining freedom, we have gained anxiety, which is the price of freedom." It is a place-specific media performance work created under the planning intention that the moment we acknowledge and accept anxiety, we can reveal our existence. The audience who goes to find emotions meet "Pathy," hiding in an underground cave. Eventually, the audience realizes that anxiety is the beginning of all emotions and helps them recognize the anxiety of "Pathy" with light. In work, when the audience enters a dark underground space with a flashlight, "Patty" hides behind the light. Performers move voluntarily according to the behavior of the audience.
